Little People, Big Dreams: Rosa Parks, María Isabel Sánchez Vegara
21.90 CHF - available 5
Rosa Parks grew up in Alabama, where she learned to stand up for herself at an early age. Rosa later became a civil rights activist. In 1955, she refused to give up her seat to a white man on a segregated bus, sparking the Montgomery Bus Boycott. Her courageous decision had a major impact on civil rights and eventually led to the end of segregation on public transportation. She never stopped advocating for equal rights.
Little People, Big Dreams tells of the impressive life stories of great individuals: Each of these women, whether artist, pilot or scientist, has achieved the unimaginable. And it all began when they were still small: with big dreams.
