Playing like grown‑ups

A play kitchen or market stall lets children immerse themselves in everyday life and act out real‑world scenarios. They cook imaginary meals, sell groceries or become customers – all with plenty of imagination. This role play encourages social skills and lets children take responsibility. Cooking together also practises language and taking turns. Our play kitchens are made of sturdy wood and can be expanded with accessories, ensuring long‑lasting fun.

Sustainable materials & quality

High‑quality play kitchens and stalls are crafted from FSC‑certified wood and painted with eco‑friendly colours. They are durable and withstand enthusiastic cooking shows. Details include turning knobs and doors that click shut. Safety comes first: rounded edges and solid construction prevent injuries. Matching kitchen helpers & utensils such as pans, spoons or knives are also made from wood or metal and sized for small hands.

Encourages social behaviour and learning

A play kitchen is a mini learning centre. Children learn the names of foods and how to prepare them. They practise numbers when calculating prices and expand their vocabulary when interacting with others. In a market stall they adopt different roles, negotiate and develop a sense of fairness. If they get too warm, they can take off a jacket and learn to listen to their bodies. Complement the play with soft kitchen textiles like aprons and oven mitts to make cooking even more realistic.

Accessories for the play kitchen

Accessories make pretend play complete. With toy food such as fruit, vegetables or bread, children learn about different foods and can invent their own menus. Small baskets, cash registers or shopping carts bring the market to life. A basket filled with wooden spoons and plates keeps everything within reach. With a chef’s hat on, the little cook becomes a star at the stove. Stories are created that can be retold again and again.
