Materials & sustainable production

A play mat should be comfortable and sustainable. We select certified fabrics such as GOTS cotton grown without pesticides and fillings made from recycled polyester or natural rubber. Many designs are reversible: one side offers cosy plush, the other a smooth surface, allowing little hands to experience different textures. Colours range from neutral tones to subtle patterns, so they fit in the living room as well as the nursery. Some blankets feature integrated arches for hanging toys; others fold into a bag so you can take them to playgroup or picnics with ease.

Usage & care tips

Play mats and blankets are versatile: use them as a safe base under a play gym, a comfy area for rolling around or a picnic blanket in the garden. On cold days, lay an extra blanket on top; in summer a thin layer is enough. Wash the mat regularly—many can be machine washed at 30 °C. For heavier soiling, wipe with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid harsh cleaners to preserve the colours. After washing, air dry the mat to maintain its shape.
